Project Overview
ANT Recruitment wanted to streamline their lead generation and outreach processes. They needed a custom automation system that would gather leads, follow up with them, and manage communications all in one seamless workflow. I designed and implemented an end-to-end solution using Apify, Make, and Zapier, drastically improving their lead conversion rates.
Goals & Objectives
Automate lead scraping and outreach, minimizing manual work and improving efficiency.
Scrape LinkedIn for relevant leads (CEOs, Founders, etc.) using Apify.
Automatically enrich lead data.
Set up automated email outreach and follow-up sequences via Zapier.
Ensure seamless integration between all tools.
Processes
The project was handled and completed by the following processes;

Lead Scraping with Apify
Scraping LinkedIn URLs based on specified search parameters.
- Tools Used: Apify, Make.com
Description: I set up an Apify actor to scrape LinkedIn profiles using specific search criteria (e.g., “CEO”, “Founder”, “Aviation”, etc.). The scraped data is automatically logged into an Excel sheet.

Data Enrichment & Handling with Make
Enrich the scraped lead data and prepared it for outreach.
- Tools Used: Make (formerly Integromat), Derrick, Google Sheet.
- Description: After scraping, I used Make to automatically enrich the leads with additional details (such as email addresses). The enriched data was then saved in a structured format.

Outreach & Follow-up Automation with Zapier
Set up email and follow-up automations.
- Tools Used: Zapier, Email Provider, Chat GPT
- Description: I configured 3 different Zaps in Zapier with Chat GPT to automate the email outreach process. This included sending initial emails, handling responses, and scheduling follow-up emails based on lead engagement.

Call Booking & Reminders
Set up call booking reminders for the client and auto generate conversation summary .
- Tools Used: Zapier, Callendly, Email
- Description: Once the lead books a call, a Zap sends reminders and a summary of the previous conversation to ensure smooth communication.
Results
Since implementing the automation system, ANT Recruitment has seen a 30% increase in Quality lead Generation rates. The time spent on manual outreach has been reduced by over 90%, and the client reports smoother lead management overall.
